Admission Requirements

  • L900 Guitar Graduate Major (18 cr.)
  • M627 Independent Study of Literature of Guitar I (3 cr.)
  • 6 credit hours selected from:
    • E558 Guitar Arranging and Transcription (3 cr.)
    • L545 Latin Guitar (3 cr.)
    • L565 Electric Guitar Concepts (3 cr.)
    • N540 Music Performance and Media (3 cr.)
    • O521 Jazz Improvisation (2 cr.)
    • O812 Jazz Guitar Graduate Minor (2 cr.)
    • Y852 Historical Guitars Graduate Minor (2 cr.)

O812 and Y852 may only be taken once each in the major field but may be taken again towards Other Required Credits. (see below)
